For sale I have a pre-owned set of 20" Axis 7 Mod Rims. They are staggered fitment with 20x10 ET 38 in the rear and 20x9 ET 37 in the front. They have Toyo Proxes T1R Tires 275/30 ZR 20 Rear, 245/35 ZR 20 Front. The front tires have 7.5/32" tread and the rears have 4/32" tread which means they are on there way out. The passenger rear tire also has a plug. The rims were originally bought and specked out for a 350z and later I decided to use them on an Rx8. They are in excellent condition, they were mostly used seasonally for car shows. They do have some small surface marks from normal use and little signs of oxidation on a few of the center caps. The rear passenger lip has a small dimple on the edge and the front passenger lip has a small mark on the edge, but no curb rash. These rims have been well maintained and kept indoors for storage. They haven't been mounted on a car for the past two years.

Local pickup preferred. Please email with questions. Reasonable offers will be considered.

Subaru BRZ Concept STI (2011) first official pictures

Tue, 01 Nov 2011

You can imagine how Subaru must have been feeling as partner Toyota hogged the headlines with its FT-86. But at long last, someone at Subaru has seen sense and decided to issue an official picture of the new BRZ coupe. This is the Subaru BRZ Concept STi – a rather obviously production-ready glimpse of the new rear-wheel drive coupe, co-developed between Subaru parent Fuji Heavy Industries and Toyota.

New Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive goes in to production

Sat, 12 Apr 2014

The first Mercedes B-Class ED (pictured) rolls off the production line in Rastatt With the BMW i3 grabbing headlines – and flying out of showrooms – as BMW’s first electric car, Mercedes need to play catch-up with a convincing EV of their own, and that’s the new B-Class Electric Drive – an EV version of the regular B-Class – which has now gone in to production in Germany. Built alongside regular ICE versions of the B-Class at Mercedes’ Rastatt Plant, the B-Class ED (Electric Drive) looks practically the same as its more conventionally powered siblings – although the front bumper does look a bit different – and has an electric motor good for 177 bhp and 250 lb/ft of torque, can manage a scoot to 62 mph in 7.9 seconds and has a range of up to 124 miles. The range – at least the quoted range – is a chunk better than the BMW i3′s and on a par with the latest Nissan LEAF, thanks to EV technology provided by Tesla, and the wrapping of an EV drivetrain in a conventional series production car could appeal to more buyers than the ‘statement’ design of the BMW i3.

Volvo V40 Cross Country (2012) first official pictures

Thu, 20 Sep 2012

Volvo is beefing up the V40 hatch with the new V40 Cross Country - a rough 'n' ready soft-roader to be shown at the 2012 Paris motor show. Ring any bells? Cast your mind back to 1997 and the release of the V70 Cross Country, to which the V40 Cross Country owes its existence. Volvo V40 Cross Country: 'all-road' performance The V40 Cross Country comes in front- or all-wheel drive formats, topped by the 2.5-litre T5 that’ll churn out 250bhp and pass 0-60mph in six seconds. A 40mm ride height increase is likely to limit on-road performance, but should come in handy should you need to traverse any troublesome countryside on the school run.
