B-47B Fuel Quantity Indicator, FORWARD Main Tank, Minneapolis-Honeywell JG7021A3Here is a Fuel Quantity Indicator as used in the US Air Force Boeing B-47B Stratojet Bomber for the 22,500 lb capacity Forward Main fuel tank. See photo from the B-47B Flight Manual showing the location of this instrument. It has date stamp of November 1951 and a BAC order number (Boeing Aircraft Corp). It is in exceptional condition given its age. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact. Please note that seller does not represent that this specific instrument was actually removed from any aircraft cited in the description, but that any documentation referenced here is evidence that it is the same type number and/or manufacturer's part number, used in these aircraft, or if such numbers are not available, the item closely resembles photos of the aircraft's instrument panel. It’s almost exactly a year since we reported Ssangyong’s return to the UK market with the Ssangyong Korando, a competitive budget compact SUV they hoped would set them on a path to sales success in the UK. Ssangyong ramped up their Korando offering in June by launching the Korando SX 4×4 at a very reasonable £18,795, although you did have to sacrifice kit – and a lump of power – to achieve the new 4×4 entry price.
Toyota and GM recall nearly 1.3 million vehicles over airbag issues
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Toyota is recalling certain RAV4, Yaris, Highlander, Tacoma, Corolla, and Matrix models in the U.S. market, part of a larger global recall campaign, for an issue that could prevent the airbag from deploying in the event of an accident. General Motors is recalling Pontiac Vibe vehicles for the same problem; the Vibe is mechanically similar to the Matrix because the two shared a platform and were built at the same plant.
