Features This kit puts you in control of the speeds at which your vehicle's lock-up converter operates. It can help eliminate lock and unlock cycling and premature unwanted lockup to avoid engine lugging and spark knock, while allowing lock-up at highway speeds for fuel economy. It can also be used for lock-up operation when converting a non-lockup equipped vehicle to a lock-up style transmission and converter. According to the poll, conducted in conjunction with Vision Critical, 29 percent of drivers questioned admitted that their children proved to be the biggest distraction when driving. Wed, 30 Oct 2013ELECTRIC AND HYBRID cars should be made louder to protect people with eyesight problems, an MP and charities have urged. Mary Glindon (North Tyneside) said the Government should first ensure the vehicles are safe for all road users after pledging millions of pounds in subsidies for the ultra-low emissions market. She believes sound generators should be fitted to the vehicles to ensure visually-impaired (VI) pedestrians are aware of them.
