B&M 80217 Clutch Converter Powerswitch Item Description
Features This B&M Powerswitch gives you control over the converter clutch in your vehicle, letting you choose whichever type of operation is best for your current driving situation. For first, second, and third gear, the Powerswitch lets you decide if you want to allow the converter clutch to operate normally, or if you want to keep it from locking-up. Not allowing normal operation of the clutch in 4th gear would cause problems on overdrive transmissions, though, so the Powerswitch does not affect normal clutch operation in this case, regardless of the switch setting. To garner a bit of PR from the handing over of the first five 4Cs, Alfa Romeo had a bit of a hand over ceremony at the Balocco Test Centre in Vercelli, Italy. The lucky recipients of the first 4Cs (none from the UK) were Pierluigi De Silvestro from Switzerland, Philippe Walch from France, Carlos Diniz from Germany, Aldo Mariani from the Netherlands and Stefano Zanotti from Italy.
