The input shaft has a bad key-way along with the pulley. The crankshaft pulley has a small piece broken off. The supercharger is missing the belt tensioner. There is some scoring on the main housing along with some minor dents/scoring on the rotors. The unit needs rebuilt with new bearings, gaskets and seals.

You are bidding on a Vintage B&M 174 Supercharger for a Big Block Chevrolet. The intake manifold is rectangular port. This unit has been mostly disassembled except for one rear bearing. If you would like it reassembled, please indicate that upon purchase. Many of the Holley/Weiand 174 Powercharger parts are interchangeable. The seals and bearings can also be cross-referenced.

Debuting this weekend at the Pebble Beach auto gathering, the M4 may have a new name but the concept is the same; BMW’s racing car ideals wrapped up in a pumped-up two-door bodyshell. Seeing the Lexus LFA in person makes it easy to forget that the supercar has been in development for more than 10 years. But you do get a wondrous amount of technology for $375,000, the carbon-fiber body, a retractable rear wing and a compact V10 so fast that analog gauges couldn’t keep up with it. Add to that 553 hp, 354 lb-ft of torque and a 202-mph top speed, and we just had to put the LFA to the test at our favorite local racetrack.
