NOTE TO CAR PARTS BUYERS:  We list information and applications as a general reference only.
It is your responsibility to do your own research to make sure this is the exact item you need.

We don't have an inventory list for our car parts. However, you can see what we have listed on ebay by vehicle if you click on our ebay store and type the year and model of your vehicle in the store's search box. Examples: 67 Impala, 60 Corvette or 65 Truck.  This should display a list of items we have at the store for you.  You can then use the store categories at the left side to see what we have by category. This list is generated by the compatibilities that we have in our listings. If you need help, send us a message.  If you find more than one item to purchase, we can combine shipping if it's possible to ship together.

Just a bit about iowa_bowtie car parts:
Our inventory is old Chevy dealership stock. We have New Old Stock (NOS) from the 30s to the 80s. Almost all are GM NOS for Chevrolets, but sometimes they fit for other GM models (Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Cadillac). We don't have an inventory list… so we encourage you to add us to your Favorite Sellers and enjoy the search with us. We try to list pairs if we have them available (if a left and right are needed), but sometimes we will find a mate later so keep watching each week. If you get a 2nd Chance Offer from iowa_bowtie, it's legitimate... Dad sometimes had more than one. Whether you are looking for parts to keep your oldie on the road, restoring your dream cruiser, accessorizing your bomb, or riding slow in your lowrider, join our group of Classic Car Fans.  Thanks for your support and inquiries... we appreciate all our car lovin' friends!

PayPal preferred.  I will work with buyers to combine shipping on multiple item purchases.

  • International Buyers Please Note:
    • Stated shipping cost is for shipping within U.S.A.  Winning bidders from other countries MUST PAY BY PAYPAL and need to contact seller regarding additional cost to ship item.
    • Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
    • Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
    • We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - U.S.A. and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

Chevrolet touts the 2012 Sonic's 40-mpg highway rating

Thu, 15 Sep 2011

With an EPA-rated 40 mpg on the highway, Chevrolet is calling its 2012 Sonic one of the most fuel-efficient small cars on the market. Chevy says that 40-mpg rating puts the Sonic right on par with the 2012 Ford Fiesta and the Hyundai Accent in terms of eco-friendliness. In city driving, the 1.4-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine gets 29 mpg.

McLaren 12C Spider gets topless, goes sideways

Thu, 12 Jul 2012

McLaren has released a glossy launch video to accompany the release of the new 12C Spider supercar. It looks as if the boys and girls from Woking are determined to destroy the reputation for anodyne, 'boring' supercars at McLaren, given that the 12C Spider spends most of its time going very sideways in this clip. Then again, given the 12C Spider's hardware, it's not hard to see why it's such a lairy beast when off the leash.

After years of preproduction buzz, the Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf are generating interest among the people who count most: buyers. Most owners are charging their cars at home without any issues. They brag about cruising past the gas station.
