THIS MEANS YOU MUST VERIFY OIL GOING INTO THE TURBO AFTER CRANKING ENGINE BUT BEFORE START UP. THIS IS VERIFIED BY CRACKING THE OIL FEED LINE TO ENSURE OIL IS BEING FED INTO THE TURBO. THIS MUST BE DOCUMENTED WITH VIDEO OR PICTURES FOR WARRANTY. IN ADDITION TO THIS YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR ENGINE OIL AND REPLACE THE FILTER TO ENSURE THAT NO CONTAMINATION HAS OCCURED IN THE OIL. 1884 De Dion Runabout sells for $4.62 million at RM auction
Mon, 10 Oct 2011Two weeks ago we told you about one of the world's oldest running motor cars going up for auction in Hershey, Pa. That car, the 1884 De Dion Bouton Et Trepardoux Dos-A-Dos Steam Runabout, sold on Oct. 7 for more than double its estimated price--a cool $4.62 million.

Last week, the 14th Louis Vuitton Classic was held at Waddesdon Manor, near Oxford, UK, a fabulous Renaissance-style chateau built by the Rothschilds in 1874 and set in 2500 acres of landscaped grounds. This year the event was open to the public for the first time and appeared to challenge the celebrated Goodwood Festival of Speed for the sheer quality of exhibits, number of celebrities and a suitably glamorous setting.
