The B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch solves the age-old problem of how to remove the ball from the bed when not in use. The B&W Hitch's ingenious, simple design set the new standard in gooseneck hitches, letting you set the hitch and return to a flat level bed in seconds. It's also very easy to install, without having to perform warranty-voiding modifications.

Once your B&W Gooseneck Hitch is installed, converting your bed to a hitch couldn't be easier. Simply pull the latch pin and turn, take the ball out of its socket, flip it over, and re-set the pin. When you aren't towing, do the same process and flip the ball so it sits in the socket flush against your truck bed. Unlike welded-in balls, the B&W Turnover Gooseneck Hitch lets you flatten your truck bed floor when not in use.

The key feature of The B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch is that you don't need to drill through your frame to install it. Every component of the BW Hitch - right down to the safety chain brackets - is custom-designed to your exact year, make, and model truck. It installs to your truck with minimal modifications, and only requires a 4" hole in your bed. The B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch is rated to 30,000 pounds Gross Trailer Weight and 7,500 pounds Tongue Weight for tough, tested hauling performance. It's also powder-coated for a long lasting, durable finish.

Every component in your B&W Gooseneck Hitch is crafted in the USA, and is warranteed for as long as you own your truck.

New Land Rover Freelander will actually be a Discovery

Wed, 22 May 2013

It seems – as we expected – that Land Rover are looking to make more sense of their range of off-roaders as new models are launched, and are going to concentrate on three core brands – Range Rover, Discovery and Defender – instead of the current mish-mash where many models really overlap with others (the top end Discoverys are really a cheaper Range Rover). So the next Freelander will become an entry-level Discovery with underpinnings borrowed from the Evoque (which is itself based on the current Freelander platform, a development of the Ford Galaxy’s platform), and arrive in both 5-seat and 7-seat guise, with the new Discovery ’5′ getting a platform based on the new Range Rover and perhaps spawning two models. The new Discovery range will be targeted as a ‘Lifestyle’ core range for Land Rover (much as the original Disco was) and the Range Rover range will be both sporty and luxurious, with a 7-seat Grand Evoque XL joining the current Evoque, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover.

Audi A1 1.6 TDI nips below 100g/km Co2

Tue, 21 Jun 2011

Audi A1 1.6 TDI - beat the congestion charge It’s of no use whatsoever for anything that actually matters, but getting below 100g/km Co2 is a big marketing deal for any car maker. Which is why Audi has been busy tweaking the Audi A1 1.6 TDI. Since launch, the A1 1.6 TDI has been churning out 105g/km which, although it’s all of tuppence a week, gets charged VED simply because the government has decreed Co2 to be the measure of a car’s frugality (it’s not).

Toyota and Lexus cars may have problems with stalling engines

Thu, 01 Jul 2010

More than a quarter-million Toyota cars sold worldwide--including many Lexus cars--have engines that may suddenly stall while the car is moving, Toyota said on Thursday. So far, Toyota has not recalled the vehicles, which total about 270,000 units. And its announcement in Japan did not say how Toyota discovered the problem.
