B55 Base for KJM-C55 Camera

Many outdoor and marine security cameras, like the KJM-C55, use an in-line joystick to setup the camera features. Although this adds amazing flexibility to the camera, the joystick can complicate installation. The B55 is designed to house the joystick, video connector and power connectors beneath the camera.

The B55 is made of ABS and is coated with a UV inhibiting topcoat. This makes it useful for installation indoors or outside.

The B55 is designed for "golf ball" style cameras with a 60 mm (2-3/8") dia. base, and 28 mm (1-1/8") center - center mounting screw holes.

The Base is installed with 3 #6 x 1-1/2” stainless steel, pan-head screws. Use the Base as a template to mark where the screws will be inserted. Be careful not to drill into any wiring. Insert the screws through the camera mounting base, then through the B55, then into the wall or ceiling where the camera will be mounted. Carefully coil the cables inside the housing, insert the mounting screws, turn the screws until snug, but be careful not to over-tighten.

This listing is for the BASE ONLY and does not include the camera.  The camera is shown above to show how the base is used.

Renault Alpine A110-50

Fri, 25 May 2012

As we reported earlier this week, the Renault Alpine A110-50 prototype will be shown at the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. Designed by Yann Jarsalle and Concept and Show Car Director Axel Breun the A110-50 effectively relaunches the historic Alpine brand despite being essentially a reworked version of the Renault-branded DeZir concept unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. As well as the addition of various Alpine design cues – the stylized yellow spot lamp pods, central hood flute and blue and orange colorway – the car is built on the platform of the RenaultSport Megane Trophy racecar and so therefore requires cooling provisions for its mid-mounted engine.
