The Hongi H7 from FAW is the first D-segment sedan from the brand since the 1980s. Aimed at the executive private market as for use by Chinese officials, the Hongi H7 was developed by Giugiaro in Italy. The sedan features a ‘straight waterfall' chrome front grille inherited from the brand's traditional identity.

Fiat will bid for Bertone's dormant contract manufacturing unit

Fiat S.p.A. confirmed it will make a non-binding offer to buy struggling Italian contract manufacturer Carrozzeria Bertone S.p.A. Fiat's offer is one of five for the dormant coachbuilder.

New Volkswagen Golf: World Car of the Year 2013

The VW Golf MK 7 has been declared World Car of the Year at the New York Auto Show, beating Porsche, Mercedes and Toyota to the title. That bunch included cars like the Porsche Boxster, Mercedes A Class and Toyota GT86, so competition was strong, but just as the new Golf had triumphed as European Car of the Year 2013 the Golf was also victorious on the bigger, global stage.
