Ford Kuga – moving to the USA
Sun, 25 Oct 2009Ford are intending moving production of the Kuga from Germany to the US. So the reports we’re hearing that Ford are about to up sticks with Kuga production from Saarlouis to Louisville make sense on a number of levels. The Kuga could make a very viable replacement for the Ford Escape (which in its last iteration was sold in Europe as the Maverick).
GM recalls Vettes to replace roof panel

But General Motors is now recalling Vettes from the 2005 through 2007 model years because the roof panel might blow off. The recall covers Corvette coupes with the removable roof panel.

All of these cars achieve CO2 figures below 120g/km, which places them in the UK's VED tax band B and, according to Volvo, makes them the most efficient cars in their respective classes. UK sales start in January 2009.
