Ferrari World Design Contest 2011 enters second phase

The Ferrari World Design Contest, launched in collaboration with Autodesk, has just completed the first phase of its selection process. With entries from over 50 international design schools, the contest saw more than 200 projects arrive at the supercar manufacturer's studios in Maranello. Seven design schools have now been selected as finalists.

The New Ford Capri due to arrive at Frankfurt in 2010 The iconic Ford Capri was, at its peak, a huge success for Ford. The stylish, quick (in big-engined guise), 2-door coupe brought a certain dash to the products from Dagenham, even when it was powered by an asthmatic 1.3 litre engine putting out about 12bhp! Chrysler is recalling automatic-transmission-equipped 2010 Jeep Wranglers for a problem with the transmission skid plate. The plate, meant to protect delicate parts from rough terrain, can collect debris near the catalytic converter. That can lead to a fire.
