Up for sale is a Barbron aluminum flame arrestor. It is 5 3/4 inches wide, 3 inches tall and the opening is 5 1/8 inches so it will fit Holley carbs, this will not fit a Rochester. This flame arrestor will it in most scoops like Dooley and Bassett but it will be tight but then you can have the scoop forward and still be legal. This is a Coast Guard approved flame arrestor. Which has surprised us a bit – we rather expected it to start turning up before that. But in lots of ways it makes sense to have Jaguar’s new Cat with Big Claws making waves on the Goodwood Hillclimb as the Goodwood Festival of Speed is going to be something of Jaguar-fest this year.
