This is a set of used but in good condition replacement cylinder heads for Dodge 318(5.2L) and 360 (5.9L) Magnum Gasoline Engines. They are being sold because the engine was replaced with a different engine, and so we are parting out the engine. They have less than 200 miles on them, and never overheated and were never starved of oil. The engine was running rich, so there may be some carbon left on the heads. If you wish, we can have the heads cleaned professionally by a machine shop before we ship them, please call us for details.

These heads were bought as brand new castings from Odessa/Clearwater Cylinder Head. They are the HD variant, which means the casting is thicker to prevent the cracking problem many Dodge Magnum engines had due to the heads being too thin between the valves. They were also ported slightly, and have hardened valves and heavy-duty valve springs. They are designed for towing and low-end power, and do not alter the compression ratio of the engine. They also would be great for a stroker or high-performance engine.

We recommend the use of a 180 degree thermostat with these heads, but you must get a new set of pushrods (factory length) to run with these heads, because the old ones get weak, and can break or bend under the stress of new springs (over time, the springs become slightly weaker, and the pushrods weaken with them, so when you use the pushrods with springs stronger than the old ones it stresses them).

If you have any questions, or are wondering if these parts are compatible with your engine, please contact Keagan toll-free at (877) 471-5600.

Core charge is refunded once you return your old cylinder heads. If the heads are cracked or otherwise damaged, we reserve the right to issue either a partial refund or no refund of the core charge. We provide a return label for shipping the cores to us. Cores are due within 30 days from the date we ship the part(s).
Please call us before purchasing to verify application!

2015 Scion FR-S gets upgraded handling, small price bump

Fri, 16 May 2014

Scion only has two cars that could be considered anything close to sporty: the FR-S and the tC. Both received light upgrades for 2015, and a slight price bump. The 2015 Scion FR-S gets better handling through a more rigid front suspension and retuning of the rear shock absorbers.

Mini Clubman concept (2014) first official pictures

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 26 February 2014 09:00 This is the new Mini Clubman Concept and, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you – it has more doors than ever. The new four-door (well, six if you could the two-piece rear opening) is the first Mini to have two sets of cabin doors, and will offer the same range of three- and four-cylinder engines as the rest of the range. Just as the Fiat 500 range is expanding in terms of size, doors and oddity, the Mini family is growing too.  While officially it’s a concept, given the brand’s history of production ready showcars, you won’t have to squint too hard – or at all – for the road-going version.
