Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 Preview

The Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 runs from 17th -27th September to the public Many of the Japanese makers will be conspicuous by their absence, but that should be more than made up for by the launches from the big European makers. And of course the Koreans – in the guise of Hyundai and Kia – will do what they’re starting to do in the market place and fill the gap left by the Japanese. Completing the quadruple A3 bodystyle line-up is this new drop-top: the Audi A3 Cabriolet. The new soft-top is bigger yet lighter than the old convertible A3, and has morphed into a more resolved silhouette courtesy of its booted rear instead of the old version’s chopped hatch profile. Plus, for the first time ever, an S3 Cabriolet is set to join the range, offering a 155mph breeze in your hair, and 0-62mph in around 5.0sec.

Infiniti 'could build a GT-R performance car' - Ghosn

Infiniti could develop its own version of Nissan's ballistic GT-R sports car, chief executive Carlos Ghosn has revealed to CAR. In a four-page interview in the new August 2011 issue of CAR Magazine, the CEO told us about his plans for Infinitis, Nissans, Renaults and more.
