New Ecotec 2.5-liter to power 2014 Chevy Impala
Thu, 23 May 2013The 2014 Chevy Impala will be the first to use General Motors' new 2.5-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine. The company says it'll be smoother, quieter and more powerful than the mills it replaces. The least expensive Impala will house the new motor, which makes 196 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque, and start at $27,535.

But times have changed and the rise in fuel prices and the collapse of the US car market has seen US car buyers looking at more ‘compact’ cars as appealing buys. It’s now become apparent that Eterniti will rebody the Porsche Cayenne 4x4 at its London factory to an even higher spec – they say – than when it emerges from Stuttgart. So the Eterniti Hemera is a posh Cayenne?
