only after bidding, they then go back and read the
complete description. They then decide
the part they bid on is not for them and don’t pay even though they are
contractually obligated by eBay. With that being said…
Here
is a used Barry Grant, 750,
Speed Demon, double pumper, carb, part #1402010. I have had it on my 351W for a while and have had GREAT service from it. Time has crept up on the old 750 and it does
need a freshen (cleaned and new gaskets installed). I simply went back to stock equipment in my
car so I don’t need this carb anymore. I
have never had any problems with this carb, in fact, I had it on my drag
race car for a while with nice results.
Some use Holley rebuild kits
instead of Demon supplies. For best results, use Demon replacement parts for best performance. I know this first hand as I have another
larger Demon on my racecar and tried
a Holley rebuild kit. It ran, but not as
well as the correct Demon gaskets.
This carb cost well over $500 new. There
are eBay’ers that sell the correct Demon
rebuild kits. I’ll even throw in a BG
fuel line and for some reason, the fuel pressure gauge decided it didn’t want
to work anymore just days ago. It does
not leak though.
Holley
now owns Demon carbs. This is what they say
about this series of fuel mixers:
