Up for sale:  Used set of forks from a 1980 Batavus moped. In good working order . Forks are straight, not bent. The head stem threads are nice, not stripped.   These forks come with headstem bearings (24 steel loose ball for the bottom.  The top are steel ball bearing set in the race. Please see picture # 5. They also come with the bearing races and cups, including the ones that fit into the frame. They also come with the handlebar clamp and top headstem nut. The paint on the forks are scratched and scuffed as would be expect of a 30 year used part.  All parts are in good usable condition. This is a lot of good fork parts. But the real excitement was reserved for the new second-generation Insight, whose low price Honda believes will lure a whole new raft of buyers to hybrid motoring.  This bears about as much relation to the wild-looking Insight coupe of old as the Jazz does.

Porsche to add 1,000 employees

To keep pace with its planned model expansion and sales targets, Porsche AG will add more than 1,000 employees by 2015, Automotive News Europe has learned from Volkswagen Group sources. About 500 jobs will be added for production of Porsche's new compact SUV, codenamed the Cajun, which will go on sale in 2013 in Europe and in North America about six months later. Porsche's supervisory board will make a decision on the production location of the Cajun in mid-March.
