Mon, 01 Oct 2012Mercedes are continuing some innovative marketing for the new A Class with the #YOUDRIVE campaign launching during X Factor. That must have worked to a degree – certainly as far as the Twitter aspect goes – as Mercedes is having another outing with another hashtag – #YouDrive – and a new marketing campaign for the A Class where viewers ’control’ the advert they’re seeing. Mercedes is kicking off the #YouDrive campaign during X Factor next Saturday (5th October) with a three part story featuring the tale of a young music star trying to get to a secret gig the authorities want to close down (Germans advocating the defying of authority?
McLaren announces markets for MP4-12C
Fri, 21 May 2010McLaren announced 35 markets where it will sell the Formula-One-inspired MP4-12C on Friday, including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto. Ten markets in the North America will sell the ultra-light, high-performance sports car starting in the spring of 2011. Other global markets include London, Monaco, Paris, Frankfurt, Kuwait and Johannesburg.
McLaren 650S to make Geneva debut
Wed, 12 Feb 2014McLaren Automotive The McLaren 650S will be the star of the British brand’s display at the 2014 Geneva motor show, it has been confirmed. At this stage McLaren has revealed little other than the name, and a close-up shot of the car’s badge. It says, however, that the 650S “takes learnings from both the 12C as well as the sell-out McLaren P1 and will be positioned between the two on McLaren Automotive’s supercar grid”.
