MY MISSION: After very many years of experience repairing golf cars and chargers I have decided to compile a kit available for sale to help the average "Do-It Yourself" person repair common problems with their Club Car PowerDrive3 Battery Charger. The kit includes the three items with the highest failure rate. The chance of anything else in the charger failing is very slim. I am not going to throw unnecessary items in this kit just so I can mark up the price. I'm also not going to confuse you with different levels or combinations of parts. I figure that it's better and more "buyer friendly" to keep it simple If you've got a PowerDrive3 charger that isn't working correctly, this kit is what you need.

TOP QUALITY: My components vary from others found on ebay for one simple reason... They're the exact same parts that were used by Lester Electronics when they built these chargers. Please be aware that with electronics there are many "shortcuts" people tend to take to save money, such as selling cheaper parts that will perform the same tasks as the original parts, for a little while at least. The parts in my kit have been proven many times to out-last many of the cheaper "Budget" parts for lack of better description. Believe me I know, I've tried them. The installation is extremely simple. All you'll need are simple hand tools. Remove the screws that hold the case to the charger, remove the components that are included in the kit and replace them individually. The Relay has two screws holding it in place. The rectifier is bolted to the back of the charger with a small bolt. The breaker will come out easily. It has tabs on it that will squeeze inward to allow it to "Snap" out of place. Make sure both power cords are un-plugged at the time of installation.

NOTE: There are 2 different PD3 Chargers, The 26560 has a square 50 amp rectifier, while the 26580 has two heatsink (diode) strips in the back of the charger. Otherwise, they are identical. Please check to confirm the style before ordering. This kit is for the #26560. DISQUALIFIED drivers who kill while behind the wheel will face longer jail terms under tougher sentences announced by Justice Secretary Chris Grayling. Offenders who defy driving bans will be hit with up to 10 years in prison if they cause death and up to four years for serious injuries under the law reforms, which will be introduced next year. Mr Grayling said the changes would send a clear message to drivers who flout bans and "go on to destroy innocent lives".
