BB Chevy 540 Eagle 4340 Forged Steel Crankshaft with 1/4 blower key way, 4.250 Stroke, 2pc rear main seal.

Eagle Forged 4340 Steel crankshafts are forged from SAE 4340 steel, feature a non-twist forging, multi stage heat treat process, stress relieving, shot-peening, and nitriding for superior strength and reliability in the most demanding applications. Each journal is micropolished to 3 r.a or better. A .125" radius used to increase strength, so chamfered bearings are a must. All crankshafts are designed for internal balance. These are the perfect choice for producing up to 1500 hp. Approximate weight 70-72 pounds. Please allow 3-4 days machining time before shipping.

NHTSA probes Grand Cherokee fires

U.S. auto safety regulators are investigating the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV after complaints about fires inside the car. In a filing Monday, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it has received three reports of fires in the headliner of the SUV near the passenger-side sun visor.

Show Review: Art Center Car Classic 2007

For those of you who haven't yet attended, Art Center's Car Classic is rapidly becoming the talk of the concours circuit. Held during the middle of the summer trimester at the main Hillside campus in Pasadena, it was started just three years ago and is gaining quite a following not only because of its intimate setting in which to admire the cars but also because attendees rub shoulder-to-shoulder with a variety of current and past industry designers and celebrities. To this fellow automotive enthusiast and Art Center alumnus at least, the Car Classic likens itself most to Lord March's Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival in the UK.
