2014 Acura MDX gets new platform, FWD option

The seven-passenger people-mover goes on sale tomorrow, and for the first time includes a base front-wheel-drive version which stickers at $43,185. Renowned automotive artist Steven Macy designed this year's edition and he was joined at the unveiling by Ford's former global vice president of Design Jack Telnack, John Tucker (grandson of American automobile designer and entrepreneur Preston Tucker) and Dr. Phillip Hessberg.
