Ford Big Block V8 429-460 1968-1971, 460 Factory Set Top Dead Center 1988-1992, Hex-A-Just Billet Cam Gear +/-6 Degrees Adjustment, Billet 3 Keyway Crankshaft Gear, Premium .250 Diameter True Roller Chain

An industry breakthrough when introduced in 1992. Since then the accuracy and simplicity of Cloyes Hex-A-Just system remains unmatched by competitors. The Hex-A-Just True Roller Set is infinitely adjustable to /- 6 degrees. No machining required and no fumbling with offset bushings. Simply dial in your cam timing with the turn of a wrench then tighten the cam bolts to lock the cam position in place. When combined with their Quick Button Two Piece Timing Cover this Cloyes patented technology will save you hours of valuable set-up time. Sprockets are machined from premium billet steel on state-of-the-art CNC equipment. Both sprockets are then induction hardened and oil-quenched using their in-house multi-stage heat treat process. Cloyes Premium True Roller chain features superior strength with full roller action. Side plates are cut and shaved from high strength steel and heat-treated for maximum fatigue resistance. The .250" rollers are "cold rolled" and hardened to exacting standards increasing load and RPM capabilities. An additional feature on Chevrolet applications is the Cloyes' patented "cheater" sprocket tooth profile that provides improved chain wrap and smoother transition. Whether your destination is the street or the track, Hex-A-Just will get you there faster!

Hyundai ix35 facelift to cost from £16,995 – extended model range & specs

    Fri, 23 Aug 2013

The ‘new’ Hyundai ix35 (pictured) costs from £16,995 Hyundai revealed the mildly facelifted ix35 back in March (and a better looking version for the Korean market a couple of months later) and now, with the new ix35 on sale next week, we have news of prices and specs. We covered the tweaks Hyundai have made to the ix35 back in March – and they’re really quite minor – but the trim levels are also changing and the more powerful 2.0 litre diesel is biting the dust. The ix35 range now kicks off with the ix35 S 1.6-litre GDi 2WD manual at £16,995 which comes with 16″ alloys, central locking, USB and AUX, AirCon, Hillstart Assist and Downhill Brake Control (designed to help those who can’t really drive).

Pininfarina 2uettottanta (2010) at Geneva motor show

    Thu, 04 Mar 2010

How do you make a Ferrari 458 Italia and Maserati Grancabrio look a bit bland? Plonk them on stage next to your stunning concept. That’s exactly what Pininfarina did at the 2010 Geneva motor show with its Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta show car, and next to it the black 458 and cream Grancabrio garnered no attention whatsoever.

Video: Jaguar XF clay model gets axed

    Thu, 07 Jun 2012

Jaguar recently gave a trio of clay modelers the task of deconstructing the original model of their carefully and lovingly sculpted XF sedan by handing them axes and sledgehammers in front of a camera crew. The modelers – dressed in black t-shirts and jeans – are shown taking apart the model piece by piece, perhaps taking out their frustration with designers who feel the need to get a little too hands-on with their artisan handiwork. Perhaps some other car manufacturers could using this as inspiration to destroy some of their cars, maybe – naming no names – before reaching production.
