These BD Diesel Cool It intercoolers feature 57 percent more cooling surface area that will increase cooling efficiency to 90 percent, compared to the stock intercooler with 70 percent. That equates to a temperature reduction of almost 200 degrees F over the stock intercooler! The larger inlet and discharge tubes provide a significant increase that can flow over 1,500 cfm, while holding pressure drop to less than 1 psi. New free flowing extruded core design has 36% larger intake and outlet which results in a 1 psi pressure drop across the cooler at 60 psi and 1600cfm. Frontal surface are of 756 sq. inches and a 2.75" thick heavy duty cooler is 90% effective compared to the stock cooler 70% efficiency.

Holden restores its futuristic 1969 Hurricane concept car

Holden, General Motors' Australian subsidiary, has resurrected its first-ever concept car: the 1969 Hurricane, packed with then-futuristic technology, some of which wouldn't make its way into production cars for more than a decade. When it was first revealed, the mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive, two-seat sports car showcased in-your-dreams innovations such as a rearview camera, a magnet-based navigation system, automatic air conditioning, electronic displays and a station-seeking radio. Holden designers started restoring the Hurricane concept--code-named RD 001--in 2006, using as many of the original parts as possible.

MOTORISTS will soon be able to enjoy the very best food in the British Isles as part of their journeys, as Michelin has confirmed a launch date for its 2014 guide to Great Britain & Ireland. The guide will be made available from October 4 as a book, for £15.99, and an Apple app for £5.99, giving drivers fingertip access to every Michelin-awarded restaurant, which in turn could make every long-distance drive a new culinary adventure. Michelin first founded the guide in its native France, where at the time the motor industry was more widespread than anywhere else in the world.
