Recaro seats custom modified.

The original Recaro seats from 1965 sell for as much as $14,000.... and i think that is crazy. So I chopped up and modified a set to be in the original style but without that crazy price-tag. Originally these were Recaro Specialist S.  Stripped them of their original skins, modified cushions, and recovered them in Black. All seat dials and levers working perfectly. As you can see from the last photo, i installed brand new seat knobs. The seats are covered in Black vinyl. The texture on the vinyl is "old BMW." This color and texture should match your original BMW black but will match most all pre 1990 black interior cars.

These are real Recaro seats. Strong and safety tested. Recaro has a great reputation for a reason. Please do not buy the fake seats that other sellers offer, it is dangerous in addition to being detrimental to the classic car movement. On that note, do not buy fake wheels either...

Cadillac has revealed the ELR: a production version of the highly-acclaimed Converj concept revealed at the 2009 NAIAS in Detroit. The new luxury coupe will be equipped with extended-range electric vehicle technology – essentially a T-shaped lithium ion battery powering an electric drive unit mated to a a four-cylinder engine-generator, which propels the car when the battery's energy is low. "There's no mistaking it for anything but a Cadillac, an aggressive, forward-leaning profile and proportion showcases a uniquely shaped, modern vision of a personal luxury 2+2," said Ed Welburn, GM vice president, Global Design. Welburn also stated that the Converj concept sparked the idea of combining the desirability of a grand touring coupe with electrification.

MINI Goodwood - more than twice the price of a Cooper S We did wonder, tongue in cheek, when BMW revealed they were making the MINI Roller – the MINI ‘Inspired by Goodwood’ – if we would see the first MINI with a list price of £50k. Of course, even BMW aren’t bold enough to make a production MINI – even one with Rolls Royce fairy dust sprinkled on at Goodwood – cost so much. But they’ve come damn close.
