New Volvo Concept XC Coupe for Detroit

Volvo has revealed the first details and images of the Concept XC Coupe, a new show car for the Detroit Motor Show in January 2014. The second of what will be three concepts based on Volvo’s new ‘Scalable Product Architecture’ (SPA), the Concept XC Coupe follows on from the Volvo Concept Coupe that debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The new Range Rover Sport - expected to arrive in 2013 as a 2014 model – has been spied out testing ahead of a probable reveal at Geneva 2013. The 2013 Range Rover is almost upon us (it will officially arrive at the Paris Motor Show next month and we should have a reveal before), but what of its lively sibling, the Range Rover Sport? The Range Rover Sport is expected to arrive at Geneva 2013 and go on sale towards the end of 2013 – as a 2014 model – and it will be a very different animal to the current Range Rover Sport.

Chevrolet Colorado concept

General Motors' Chevrolet brand is previewing the next generation midsized Colorado pickup truck in concept form at the Bangkok International Auto Show. The venue was chosen to debut the truck due to the Thai market's prevalence – it is the world's largest market for midsize pickups. Despite being a show vehicle, the basic proportions and form are said to convey the vision for the next-generation Colorado, whiuch is said to build on Chevrolet's 'strong truck DNA and award-winning heritage.' With a design calling on the inherent strength of Chevy trucks, it is unsurprising to see the exterior boast a broad shouldered and squat demeanor.
