BMW expands Mini lineup with two-seat coupe, roadster models

Mini is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its original model by confirming plans for a new compact performance-oriented coupe. The two-seater, revealed 50 years to the day after the premiere of the first Mini back in 1959, will make its public debut at the upcoming Frankfurt auto show. At the show, the BMW-owned carmaker also will unveil a similarly styled two-seat roadster, which sources say will head into production as part of a strategy aimed at further raising the appeal of the wildly popular and iconic small car.

This weekend sees the first of two petrolhead extravaganzas organised by Chris Evans for the benfit of Children in need kick off at Laverstoke Park Farm with CarFest South. Aston Martin reveals Vantage N430 and Carbon editions before Geneva

Stop us if you've heard this one before: Aston Martin is bringing two special editions to the Geneva motor show next month. Unfortunately neither of them is coming to the United States, but since they're Aston Martins, we figured you'd still want to be in the know. The V8 Vantage N430 builds on the N420 special edition from 2010.
