480bhp Nissan Juke-R finally finished – Photos & Video
Thu, 17 Nov 2011Nissan Juke-R - finally finished Nissan certainly milked the creation of the Nissan Juke-R for all it was worth. There were endless teases and photos – and even a video or three – some of which we covered, and some of which we didn’t, as it all got a wee bit tedious. Jaguar reveals 'brand-new' Lightweight E-Type
Tue, 12 Aug 2014This is a brand-new Lightweight Jaguar E-Type, exactly as it would have been if it had left the Browns Lane factory gates in Coventry way back in 1963. It’s not a restoration, either, but a totally fresh, zero miles car that will make its world debut later this week at the Pebble Beach Councours d’Elegance 2014. Back in May, Jaguar announced that it would finally build the remaining six "missing" Lightweight E-Types (originally developed for racing) that it never got round to in the 60s – now they’re here.
Keep Cruisin', Marv Spector
Thu, 08 May 2014For the last 30 years or so, you could belly up to the service counter at Specter Off Road in scorching Chatsworth, Calif., deep in the Valley, underneath the red-and-white arrow that stretches the length of the squat stucco building. You'd first have to stroll past the long and dark row of dizzying Toyota Land Cruisers -- Japanese fire trucks, FJ60s with roof-mounted machine guns and a propane-powered 1973 Baja 1000 champion. Past the glass cases of old photos and model kits and RC cars from Japan.
