Peugeot 408 GT teased ahead of Beijing 2014 debut

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

Peugeot will show a new concept car at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show this April, hinting at a small four-door coupe that could rival the Mercedes-Benz CLA. The prototype will most likely be based on the French firm’s current 308 hatchback – underpinned by PSA Peugeot Citroen’s latest EMP2 platform – and will continue to evolve the brand’s new design direction. On Bing: see pictures of the Peugeot 308 Find out how much a used Peugeot 308 costs on Auto Trader The concept is thought to be relevant to the Chinese market only, however, as Peugeot already sells a 408 saloon model solely in that territory, based on its older 308 hatch.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 and DB9 Carbon for 2014 Geneva Motor Show

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

Aston Martin will show off special new versions of the V8 Vantage and the DB9 at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March. The updates to the two model ranges are very different in character, however. The V8 Vantage N430 is a race-inspired special with more power and less weight – not to mention a somewhat shouty paint job – while the DB9 Carbon Black and Carbon White models are intended to bring a little extra luxury and style to the British marque’s Grand Touring model.

Fri, 06 Jun 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 06 June 2008 08:00 The great survivor of the sports car world – the Porsche 911 – has evolved again. Porsche today unveils the latest in a long line of 911s and the new one heralds the arrival of Porsche’s new twin-clutch transmission (dubbed PDK) and direct-injection. Amazingly, it makes the coupe nearly as fuel efficient as a family car, nudging 30mpg.  Porsche 911: the 2009 model year There’s no new model designation this time: it remains a 997 at heart and Porsche calls the latest 911 a ‘second-generation 997’, despite a raft of technical changes under the same-again skin.
