Apple iWatch illegal to use while driving

The Department for Transport (DfT) has confirmed that any driver caught using Apple’s new iWatch wearable technology behind the wheel will receive the same penalty as if they were using a mobile phone. The new “smartwatch” was announced this week and allows wearers to read text messages, make phone calls and browse the internet on the device. Video: Toyota teases Furia concept

Toyota has released a teaser a teaser video to promote its new Furia concept, set to be unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month. From what we can tell, the orange sedan concept features some carbon fiber accents – check out the rear lip spoiler – and there appears to be the standard next-generation lights we see on every concept. The world debut of the Furia Concept will be broadcast live online via Livestream on 14 January.

Art Center student's clothing company with a cause

In addition to studying automotive design at Art Center College of Design, student Mason Watson also runs his own automotive clothing company called Cars For A Cure Apparel. Set up a year ago, the venture was established in honor of Watson's mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2008. Every purchase made on the Cars For A Cure Apparel website includes a 20 percent donation to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
