The Vortex GT is the latest version of the famous Vortex line of helmets from Bell. The Snell SA2010/FIA8858 Vortex GT offers high-end features and performance at an affordable price. The redesigned styling of the Vortex GT incorporates aggressive upper and lower chin bar vents, forehead vents and top vents for outstanding ventilation. With an ultra-lightweight carbon composite shell and pro-style interior for outstanding comfort, the Vortex GT is always up to the challenge and can be used in any style of racing.

The Vortex GT is certified to the Snell SA2010 and the FIA8858 standard. The FIA8858 certification requires the helmet to be tested for use with Head and Neck Restraint Devices. Bell's M6 terminal hardware is incorporated into the helmet and accepts Head and Neck Restraint anchor system hardware.

(We recommend consulting with the Head and Neck Restraint manufacturer to select an anchor system that allows the user to index the hardware in the proper location for use with the device.) The Vortex GT is compatible with FIA8858-2010 and is recognized by the FIA for use outside of North America.

The Vortex GT takes a 276 SRV Shield and each helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment. The Vortex GT also features Bell's redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation. Racers can also customize the fit of the Vortex GT by using Bell's Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. In addition, replacement face piece kits are available for the Vortex GT in the event the front interior chin piece needs to be replaced. The helmet is available in White and Rubberized Matte Black finish - the rubberized surface is more resistant to finger prints and smudges than traditional flat finishes.

All returns must be sent prepaid--no collect shipments will be accepted. Insure the returned part for its full value to protect yourself against loss. UPDATED: Volkswagen has revealed a 496-hp version of the seventh-generation Golf GTI as part of activities at this year's Worthersee fan meet in Austria – and with it, projected the hot hatchback into the same league as some of the world's most celebrated supercars. Dubbed the Design Vision GTI, the radical new concept showcases a twin-turbocharged 3-liter V6 engine developed for use in upcoming models that, like the new Golf GTI, are based around Volkswagen's highly flexible MQB (modular transverse architecture) platform structure. Set to find its way into selected new Volkswagen models in future years, the direct injection engine replaces the Golf GTI's turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four, and is mounted transversely in the engine bay of the Design Vision GTI.

For the Peugeot 508 HRX is exactly what we spied back in February – a high riding 508 Estate with lots of toys; probably best thought of as the 508 Allroad. It gets the same jacked-up suspension as an Audi Allroad and the same butch bits of bodywork to make it look all rufty-tufty; fit for the fight in both the urban and rural jungles.
