Track 'raider' given public nuisance charge

A MAN who drove his girlfriend's car on to the former Formula 1 circuit at Brands Hatch during a race has been charged with causing a public nuisance. Jack Cottle, 21, was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment in June after footage appeared on YouTube of a white Volkswagen Polo being driven into the middle of a Fun Cup race at the Kent circuit, police said. Cottle, of Durgates, Wadhurst, East Sussex, was charged when he answered bail at a Kent police station last night.

Armor-plated SUV among extravagant debuts at Top Marques Monaco show

While AutoWeek editors were pounding the pavement at the New York auto show last week, the world's silly rich were nodding polite approval at the Top Marques Monaco show. Included in the debuts were Gemballa, Fisker, Keating, Tirrito and Conquest, the latter of which showed off a ridiculously large, armor-plated SUV called the Knight XV that reportedly took organizers three hours just to maneuver it through the hall doors. 'Vespa Segway' unveiled in Spain

A SPANISH company has revealed what must be the coolest-looking Segway ever made, built using parts designed for classic Vespa scooters. Standard Segway scooters are, let’s face it, a bit dull, especially in the styling stakes, which is why Barcelona-based Bel&Bel has built this. Officially called the Zero Scooter, it uses ordinary Segway running gear but wrapped in much, much jazzier Vespa clothes.
