This is a size Large, Bell SA2000 racing helmet.  I was a member of the Porsche Club, and got this signed by Hans Peter Porsche at the Hershey Parade in 2005.

I used this helmet for a small number of autocrosses, and as you can see, it is in excellent condition.  The back has a couple of very small nicks from taking the helmet off, and placing on the passenger seat (and hitting the passenger seat belt).  The interior of the helmet is still really excellent condition, and no bad stains or smells.  I wore this to a half dozen autocrosses, and was never worn for a track event, or for any other event for any length of time. Structurally, this has never been wrecked and has been stored in an air-conditioned environment.  This would make a great conversation piece, or still could be used.

I am open to offers...send me one if you want to own an unique piece of Porsche Club history.

Ferrari F70 (new Enzo) to get 920bhp

Sat, 18 Feb 2012

The new Enzo Ferrari - the Ferrari F70 - will get 920bhp It’s reported that the replacement for the Enzo Ferrari – the Ferrari F70 – will get a V12 with KERS delivering 920bhp. Georg Kacher is a man many of us grew up reading in CAR Magazine, a man who made the monthly cost of the mag a bargain all on his own (well, with LJK). So when Georg Kacher tells us that the new Ferrari F70 will have a V12 with 800bhp and a KERS package with an electric motor adding a further 120bhp, we believe him.
