Bell-Vador-Predator-Auto-Racing-Helmet-Snell-SA2010-All-Sizes

The Vador is a complete design departure for Bell, incorporating an aggressive blunt nose design and pilot style shield. Designed primarily for use in drag racing, karting and dirt track racers, the Vador is certified to the Snell SA2010 standard and available in white or rubberized matte black in sizes XXS to XL.

The Vador features a lightweight composit shell, comfortable interior fit and rear facing vents to prevent dust and dirt from entering the helmet. The Vador takes a 289 SRV (3MM) shield with thumb tab on the drivers left side to allow for easy shield operation, SRV-1 visor system and new rubber eyeport gasket for improved visor seal. Each helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment.

The Vador also features Bell's redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation. Racers can also customize the fit of the Vador by using Bell's Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. The helmet is available in White and Rubberized Matte Black finish - the rubberized surface is more resistant to finger prints and smudges than traditional flat finishes.

*Accessories: Shields, Tearoffs, Han Post, etc. can be added to your order at an additional cost.

Measure the circumference of the head at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, and at a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement. Take several measurements. The largest measurement is the one you want to use. Please don't guess your size or go by the size of a previously owned helmet. Helmet manufactures vary in size.

Carl-Peter Forster a candidate to lead Jaguar Land Rover

Mon, 25 Jan 2010

Jaguar Land Rover is parting company with its chief executive, David Smith, potentially clearing the way for former Opel and BMW boss Carl-Peter Forster to take control. Forster has been linked with a senior role at Jaguar Land Rover for some months. Executives at Indian automaker Tata Motors, which bought the British brands from Ford in 2008, were rumored to have been taking soundings on whether Forster was the right man for job.

Who the hell is Rory Carroll, and what is he doing to your autoweek.com?

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

My name is Rory Carroll, and as of this week, my full-time job is to be hopelessly obsessed with cars, and to share that obsession with you, the readers of autoweek.com. For whatever reason, I have more or less always believed that making a career writing about cars wasn't quite a realistic-enough option to pursue. It made a lot more sense to go to law school, (or in my case put law school off while getting wrapped up in the sometimes-exciting world of politics).
