Ssangyong are continuing their concept offensive with the e-XIV EV Concept, a range extender compact SUV. Mahindra seem intent on turning Ssangyong from the Lada of Korea in to another South Korean car maker to be taken seriously. Renault to unveil Alpine-branded concept car at Monaco GP

Renault is set to unveil an Alpine-branded concept car at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. The A110-50 – so named to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the oh-so-pretty A110 rally car – is clearly a development of the 2010 DeZir concept car although with only one leaked image to analyze, it's difficult to know by what amount it has changed. Nissan might delay U.S. EV output

Japan's earthquake and tsunami may force Nissan to delay the start of U.S. production of its Leaf electric vehicle, now scheduled for late 2012. "The earthquake is putting us in a very difficult situation," said Hideaki Watanabe, head of Nissan's Global Zero Emission Vehicle Business Unit.
