Mazda Shinari concept car (2010) first official pictures
Wed, 01 Sep 2010Mazda's new design direction is embodied in the new Shinari concept car. Modeled to announce to the world the new styling language of future Mazda road cars, the Shinari ushers in a new look to replace the somewhat tortured Nagare mantra that has fizzled into a damp squib on the sides of the latest Mazda 5 midi-MPV. The Shinari won't be shown at the 2010 Paris motor show (apparently it's being held back for a 2011 Geneva debut), yet this is a landmark concept for Mazda design, under the new leadership of chief design Ikuo Maeda.

Thu, 17 May 2012Peugeot 207 CC and 308 CC Roland Garros Peugeot – an official sponsor of the French Open – has revealed Roland Garros Special editions of the 308CC and 207CC. There’s nothing like a special edition to move a few cars – especially when they’re nearing the end of their shelf life – and even better if you can tie in a bit of Sponsorship goodness in the process. Which explains Peugeot’s decision to put together special editions of the 207CC and 308CC with a bit of ‘Tennis’ thrown in to the mix with ‘Roland Garros’ badges (Peugeot are sponsors of the French Open at Roland Garros) The Peugeot 207 CC Roland Garros comes in either Onyx Black or Bianca White with a choice of the 1.6 litre VTi or the 1.6 litre HD 112 diesel.

Thu, 19 Aug 2010The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport Thanks to a friend of Cars UK with a healthy appetite for hypercars (and the bank balance to indulge his lust) we were able to break the news to the world that Bugatti were building the ultimate, 1200 hp Veyron – The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport - back in June. Bugatti confirmed our story in July with news that the Veyron Super Sport had taken the world speed record for a production car with an average speed run of 267.81 mph. When Bugatti announced the Super Sport and the new World Record, we also got pictures of the world record Veyron which will form the basis for an Orange and Carbon World Record Edition of five cars.
