Award Puts Kia In Seventh Heaven

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KIA has received yet another award for its industry-leading, seven-year warranty. First introduced on the European designed and built Cee’d in 2007, the manufacturer-backed warranty is marking its seventh anniversary and has been lauded with the CarBuyer ‘Buyer’s Award’ in its 2014 honours. Since the seven-year warranty was first applied to the Cee’d, 82,884 vehicles have found homes with UK consumers.

Essex boost for car loving home buyers

Sun, 31 May 2009

An Essex council is to make garages and drives bigger on new homes For most of the last decade the UK Government has waged a war on the motorist. Endless speed cameras, which are in reality just tax-raising  machines and have little to do with road safety; never-ending fuel tax rises; congestion charging; spiralling parking charges; road-charging schemes and the only coppers you see have a speed gun so non-speeding untaxed and uninsured drivers never get caught -  pushing up costs for the rest of us. But one of the most stupid, head-in-the-sand policies was the idea that new houses should encourage people to forsake their cars by making garages too small and off-street parking almost non-existent.

Ken Block Sn*Drift Fiesta Rally video

Sun, 31 Jan 2010

The Ken Block Monster Ford Fiesta Rally car (Sn*Drift video below) We’re big fans of Ken Block’s abilities here at Cars UK Towers. We’ve run a couple of Ken Block Videos before, including the Ken Block Gymkhana 2.1 video and the Ken Block on Top Gear video (which TG unsportingly blocked – as they do) – and even Ken Block driving a MKII Escort – and they show off the skills of a man at the top of his game. But Ken has moved on from Subaru, and is this year driving the Monster Ford Fiesta Rally WRT car instead.
