Infiniti-designed Santa's sleigh (2010)

Thu, 23 Dec 2010

Today's sleighs are courtesy of Infiniti. The design team in Japan have sketched out a couple of Infiniti sledges for Father Christmas to deliver his presents across the globe in imperious style. The first sleigh looks like an Essence supercar concept meets an FX crossover - from that long snout and high-mounted, wedgy headlamps to the complex, textured surfaces, sliced and diced by a laser-pointer's worth of sloping lines flying off at all sorts of angles.

James Bond car chases – 50 years in 2 compilation videos

Fri, 14 Sep 2012

For those of us who grew up with Sean Connery and Aston Martin as the Bond ingredients that matter, nothing is better than James Bond in an Aston Martin DB5. But there have been many other Bonds in the 50 year history of the Bond franchise – from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig by way of Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, George Lazenby and Pierce Brosnan – and even more cars, from BMW to Lotus by way of Toyota and Sunbeam.

And Mike must be important, because he gets a moody-looking pro mug shot to go with this piece!). And his subject is something that will make or break the new Jaguar XJ – Driving Dynamics.
