 This is a Bendix King KA-39 28V to 14V voltage converter P/N 071-1041-01; S/N is 56387. It has hod Mod 1 applied. Unit has a maintenance release (serviceable) tag and was bench checked good. Due to the length of time since the bench check, however, it will need a recertification before use. We are selling this unit as-is; it will be the buyer's responsibility to have this unit bench checked and receritified. Cosmetically, this voltage converter is in excellent condition; there are some scratches on the top and bottom, but otherwise it looks great.

Less than a month after revealing a raft of changes to standard versions of its range-topping coupe, Mercedes-Benz has lifted the veil on a more powerful and significantly more economical CL63 AMG. Set for U.S. sale from November, the up-market performance coupe receives a series of mid-life styling tweaks, including larger headlamps, a restyled grille, more heavily contoured hood and re-profiled bumpers--all aimed at providing the CL63 AMG with added appeal against stiff competition from the likes of the Bentley Continental GT and the newly refreshed Aston Martin DB9.

2014 Jeep Cherokee delayed?

Chrysler Group late today took the unusual step of postponing a planned media drive of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee scheduled for early next month but vowed that "vehicles will still be in showrooms in September." The media event -- in which waves of national and foreign journalists were to gather in Seattle between Aug. 8 and 14 to drive the Cherokee for the first time -- was delayed until at least the first half of September, according to an email from the automaker. "Over the last couple of weeks during final quality and durability testing, we have discovered the opportunity to further improve powertrain calibration" in the Cherokee, the company said.

BMW i3 Coupe concept

It may be dubbed a concept but this BMW i3 Coupe is ostensibly the debut of the production version of the innovative new B-segement EV at the LA auto show. The Coupe is a new variation on the now-familiar i3 although in reality it's more three-door than true coupé. At 3,964mm, 1,768mm wide and 1,555mm high, the Coupe is lower than the five-door i3, while its front and rear screens have faster rakes.
