I REMOVED THIS KLN89B FROM MY PIPER ARCHER DURING A RECENT AVIONICS UPGRADE. THE UNIT WORKED GREAT BEFORE I REMOVED IT. INCLUDES TRAY. I AM ALSO INCLUDING A USB TO SERIAL PORT TO RCA ADAPTOR THAT I USED TO UPDATE THE DATA USING A MODERN LAPTOP COMPUTER. YOUR INSTALLER CAN PRETTY EASILY MOUNT A PLUG-IN IN YOUR PANEL TO DO THE UPDATES. MYWINGMAN WEBSITE HAS THE UPDATES YOU NEED. THIS CABLE IS EXPENSIVE IF YOU CAN FIND ONE, AND THE VALUE IS AT LEAST $50. I ENJOYED THIS GPS WHILE I HAD IT AND HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH IT. I'LL SHIP IT FREE VIA UPS OR FEDEX WITHIN THE CONUS.
