Ford’s 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine now going in to 1 in 5 new Fords

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

Half the Ford B-Max (pictured) sold get the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine Who’d have thought, just a few years ago, that a 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder engine would become one of the most popular engines in a new car in Europe? But that’s exactly what’s happened with the increasingly impressive 1.0 litre EcoBoost from Ford which, as its power output has increased, has become a more and more popular engine of choice. The body appears to be nearly identical between the A- and C-pillars, but the deformed horseshoe-shaped headlamp design and two-bar grille come straight from the 2007 Flextreme concept, as do the car's tree-branch alloy wheels.

Audi RS7 Sportback refreshed with 190 mph top speed

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

Audi has fitted the RS7 Sportback with a series of mild styling changes only 18 months after its reveal at the 2013 Detroit auto show. Among the subtle visual modifications brought to the plush performance liftback is a lightly reworked front end. It features a restyled single-frame grille set within a slightly more structured bumper, bringing its appearance in line with less-powerful versions of the A7 Sportback revealed last week.
