Normal cosmetic wear.
Brand:Bendix King Warranty:Yes

This unit was working when removed from a 1983 Beech Sierra C24R for a panel upgrade.

Includes a glideslope receiver, backplate, and the tray (not pictured here). For a 28v electrical system.

Because there were some inoperative display segments, I had the radio checked out last July. The shop replaced some worn internal parts, repaired the display, then issued a new 8130. Since unit has been used since then, the 8130 is no longer valid but will be included. When it was replaced with a Garmin GNS-430W in November, 2015, everything was working, including the display segments in all lighting conditions.

Guaranteed to be in working condition when you receive it.

Porsche 918 Spyder details emerge in leaked document

Mon, 22 Oct 2012

Rennteam.com forum member Rossi has posted what looks to be leaked details of the Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid. We know much of the information, but we're psyched to learn that it only comes in left-hand drive. Other surprises include the quick charger that reduces charge times about 30 minutes and the inclusion of Sail Mode, which decouples the transmission from the engine to conserve fuel.

2012 Ford Focus ST gets 297bhp

Fri, 30 Nov 2012

Those clever chaps at SuperChips have given the 2012 Ford Focus ST a bit of an ECU tweak to deliver 297bhp and an extra 85lb/ft of torque. When we reported last week that WTC outfit Arena had in roped Ford’s tuner of choice, Mountune, to give the new Ford Focus a makeover, we were a tad disappointed to discover that they were tweaking the rather journeyman Focus Zetec S. That meant the Zetec S got 200bhp – a handy jump – but we bemoaned the fact that they hadn’t fiddled with the Focus ST to give us a car to fill the void left by the absence of a Focus RS in the current iteration of the Focus.

More drivers skipping vital car servicing

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

NEW RESEARCH has revealed that more than one in three motorists (39%) on our roads are thinking of skipping their next service. This means that for nearly 13 million motorists, the MOT test could be the only time their vehicle undergoes any kind of safety inspection. According to the survey carried out on behalf of KwikFit, one in ten (10%) UK motorists confessed they ‘never’ check their tyres and nearly one in seven (15%) admit they are currently experiencing a problem with their brakes but are not actively looking to repair it.
