Range Rover Evoque gets some new tech for 2014

When the 2014 Range Rover Evoque goes on sale in just a few months, it's going to have a whole host of new technologies on offer. As difficult as it is to believe that the Evoque is already being updated with new technology (didn't this SUV just come out a little while back?), Land Rover isn't waiting around. Over 170,000 units have been sold in just 18 months, and this compact SUV is well on its way to becoming Land Rover's sales leader of the decade if this pace keeps up.

Twingo Renaultsport 133 & Clio Renaultsport 200 ‘Silverstone GP’ Limited Editions launched

Renaultsport Twingo & Clio 'Silverstone GP' - just 50 of each available ‘Now what moniker can we hang on the back of a Renaultsport Twingo and Renaultsport Clio to get our British customers to part with their hard-earned?’, the man from Renault was heard to say. ‘I know’, he said, ‘Silverstone will be in the news next week – all shiny and new and quick. That’ll do – we’ve only got 50 of each with that left-over paint to flog.’ And so we get treated to a Limited Edition of just 50 cars each of the Twingo Renaultsport 133 ‘Silverstone GP’ Limited Edition and the  Clio Renaultsport 200 ‘Silverstone GP’ Limited Edition.

GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)

The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines.
