Berkeley 12 Je / Jf -a Jet Drive + Place Diverter W/ Hydraulic Control - Rebuilt on 2040-parts.com

This is a fresh rebuild of a Berkeley 12JE-A main drive jet pump. Single piece bowl with a new place diverter all powder coated (NOT PAINTED). Main drive unit was shop rebuilt with a (major) overhaul kit. ALL internal parts are new. .... This pump has not been run since rebuild.

NOTE: This unit MUST be broken in using approved methods as detailed for new or rebuilt pumps. I.E. Fully submerged in the water on the boat NOT on a garden hose ! ... The place diverter has to be disassembled and fully Loctite installed and the main seal at the steering knuckle must be properly clearanced and checked for fitment and steering stops must be installed. Place diverters inc. can help you with any questions on these procedures or refer to a qualified jet boat mechanic.

Sellers notes : A few minor pieces are missing (lost in the shop). 3- nyliners , zirk fitting at main bearing , 2- oil plugs, and the large O-ring at steering joint. About $20 in parts available at place diverter inc or Berkeley or elsewhere. This unit was set up to be used on a CV-23 hull. It will work on any hull with a JE of JF jet mount . There is no scratches or wear marks on any ball or joint surfaces, this unit looks new. There is some porosity in the powder coat here and there - sand and seal with clear epoxy paint if you like.
