Up for auction is a used Bestop brand Jeep Wrangler 97-06 TJ soft top. The top is black in color with clear windows (slightly scratched) and has no rips. Note that minor sewing is needed to fix one of the plastic attachment clips near windshield. The top DOES NOT come with any of the metal bows or brackets or any tops/windows for half doors. This will be a good top to replace one with serious rips or leak issues at a much reduced price from new.

Jaguar Land Rover recruiting 1,000 at Halewood Jaguar Land Rover are creating 1,000 new jobs at their Halewood plant to keep up with orders for the Range Rover Evoque and Freelander 2. We’ve reported umpteen times on Land Rover’s order book for the Range Rover Evoque, and how the stylish new entry-level Range Rover has scored a direct hit with buyers, And that’s now translating in to even more jobs at Land Rover, just nine months after Evoque production started. JLR has announced the creation of 1,000 extra jobs at their Halewood plant on Merseyside to try and keep pace with the burgeoning order book not just for the Range Rover Evoque, but also for the Freelander 2 which is also being created as CKDs for shipping to India.

Pebble Beach Concours: Best in Show goes to 1934 Voisin C-25 Aerodyne

Peter Mullin, who has about the most beautiful collection of pieces from the art deco movement in the world, now has one more item to add to his collection, the trophy that goes to the Best in Show at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. His 1934 Voisin C-25 Aerodyne took the prize on Sunday. Mullin has 15 Voisins in his collection, in addition to numerous Bugattis, Talbot Lagos and Delahayes.

Citroën separates DS and C line design departments

Citroën is reorganizing its design division in order to create a dedicated design department for its semi-premium DS line of models, led by Thierry Metroz. The new structure will come into effect on 1 June. Alexandre Malval, former head of styling for the DS5 and C5, will manage the mainstream C line.
