This auction is for a BF Goodrich aircraft 700 x 8 wheel and brake assembly including the wheel bearings. This BF Goodrich wheel shows an Assy. number of G-3-637-M-1, with one of the wheel halves being marked as part number G10-481-M-0, with a build date of 9-50.  The brakes are hydraulic expander type and look to be in serviceable condition. The wheel shows no signs of damage or corrosion. I believe this wheel and brake assembly was originally fit to a Beechcraft Bonanza but I do not have the Bonanza parts manual to confirm this. Please be sure and check your application guide to make sure this wheel is correct for your aircraft.

This wheel assembly looks to be in serviceable condition.  As with any "used" part we are selling this wheel assembly  "as is" with no warranty offered or implied. The Port Townsend Aero Museum received this wheel as a donation from a gentleman who was retiring after a lifetime of owning an aircraft repair business. These parts were part of this "used but serviceable" inventory that he had been hanging onto for many years.

This set is being offered for auction by the Port Townsend Aero Museum in Port Townsend Washington. We are a non-profit 501 C-3 organization that is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and operation of antique and classic aircraft through the involvement of our local youth population. If you have a minute you can learn more about our aero museum on the internet by searching for Port Townsend Aero Museum.

The winning bidder will need to contact us within 24 hours regarding payment. Payment is due within 72 hours of the auction closing. Paypal is our preferred method of payment. Overseas bidders must use Paypal if they win the bid.

Thank you.

2015 Mercedes CLS and CLS Shooting Brake (minor) facelift revealed

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

The 2015 Mercedes CLS and CLS Shooting Brake (pictured) get a small facelift The Mercedes tease for the 2015 facelift of the CLS and CLS Shooting Brake focused firmly on the new Multibeam LED headlights. But that’s because they’re about the most significant changes Mercedes has wrought to its four-door swoopy coupe. Frankly, there’s not a huge number of cosmetic changes to mark out the 2015 CLS from the 2014 model save for a mildly re-worked front bumper and grill and those new Multibeam LED headlights – standard across the new CLS range.
