The 2014 KTM 1290 Super Duke R
Thu, 03 Apr 2014Turns out the Trapp Family Singers aren't the only Austrian product worth hearing. Kronreif und Trunkenpolz, Mattighofen (KTM), an 80-year-old motorcycle manufacturer based two hours east of Munich is enjoying newfound influence and recently launched its biggest, baddest-sounding machine yet: the 1290 Super Duke R. Bugatti to unveil “Lang Lang” Veyron at Qatar motor show
Tue, 18 Feb 2014Bugatti will reveal another special edition of the Grand Sport Vitesse called “Lang Lang” at the 2014 Qatar International Motor Show later this month, built to honor the Chinese pianist. The two-tone exterior features lots of polished black carbon fiber that’s really set off by the “Blanc Atalante” white accents.
Storms batter Britain
Thu, 13 Feb 2014THE MET OFFICE has issued a "red" weather warning for exceptionally strong winds in western parts of Wales and north-western parts of England, while the Thames is predicted to rise to its highest level in more than 60 years in some places. On the day dubbed Wild Wednesday, gusts of 108mph hit Aberdaron on the Llyn Peninsula in north west Wales, while 96mph winds were recorded off the south coast of England at the Needles, on the Isle of Wight. The Met Office has forecast 2.75ins (70mm) of rain by Friday in the already-sodden West Country - more than the region would normally get in the whole of February - with south Wales, western Scotland, Northern Ireland and other parts of southern England also expected to bear the brunt of the deluge.
