Big Block Chevy BBC 396 427 L Stamped High Performance Long Slot Rocker Arms

Very nice set of L stamped long slot rockers and balls. These rockers were used by GM for the larger lift cam Big block performance engines. These have a longer slot so they don't bind with larger lift cams.
396-375hp  396-425hp  402-375hp  427-390hp  427-400hp  427-425hp  427-430hp  454-450hp
These are original GM rockers.
Part # 3959182
H Rockers were used on later high performance engines 1970 and up.
L Rockers were used on early high performance engines 1969 and down.
X Rockers were used on 1965-66 high performance engines.

Magna Electronics develops 'Touchskin' concept [w/video]

Electronics firm Magna is working on a new technology it calls 'Touchskin concept' that has the potential to eliminate traditional switches and instruments inside vehicles. As part of its ‘Intelligent Surface Technology', the Touchskin concept is set to be an integral part of a system that allows the user to control the car via intuitive gestures – such as pinching, tapping and swiping – as we've become so familiar with when using smartphones. The potential design implications are easy to see with the large amount of space made available by removing the traditional instrument cluster and its wiring and the removal of wired-in switches and buttons.

Utilizing the same 300bhp equivalent battery powertrain, the America evolves the Fetish's technologies and looks to the future of the small-scale French manufacturer. The bespoke carbon monocoque chassis forms part of the America's bodywork, with the rest being made up of two separate deformable 'cells'.

Ford UK, and product development publication DEVELOP3D, have announced details of a new competition, asking designers to create a concept for a future Ford steering wheel. The competition is open to UK-based designers from all industries, and submissions should be emailed in the form of digital sketches or hand-drawn images. The deadline is 7 November, 2014.
