Big Block Chevy stroked roller motor. 454 Bored and stroked to 498 cubic inch displacement. Professionally built by Victory engines of Cleveland Ohio. You can look at their website. Comp cams solid lifter roller cam, Dart Pro-1 aluminum heads, SRP pistons, Eagle stroker crankshaft, Canton high capacity oil pan, Quick Fuel 950 carb. I still have all build sheets from Victory. Comp. Ratio 10.8 to 1. Motor dynoed at Victory at over 700 HP at flywheel. Work done in late 2007. I put about 15 passes on the motor in 2008. Son left for college, so we quit racing. I drove it on street every few months to keep lubed up. Otherwise, it is like new. Still in Chevelle. You can come and see it run or drive it. Not just a motor on a stand in a picture. The heads alone are worth over $2000.

The 2012 Porsche Boxster (or, as always, if you’re on the other side of the Pond, the 2013 Porsche Boxster) has been revealed, not at the Detroit Auto Show, but, just as Audi did yesterday with the A6 Allroad, as a diversion from the car antics in North America. Looking, as you would expect from Porsche, little different to the current Boxster, the new Porsche Boxster does however get a thorough makeover of body, engines and chassis to make the new Boxster fit to fight for another decade (or so).
