This is a Pair of BIG BLOCK CHEVY (MARINE) VALVE COVERS. They are Diecast Aluminum, Polished with One Oil Fill Per Pair.  TAPERED to fit MARINE Exhaust Systems or larger taller header setups. But they can be used on ANY Big Block Chevy Motor.  Tall enough to fit the most aggressive valve train setups, including roller rockers, studs and girdles. They are 3 1/2" Deep from the Gasket Rail, not including gasket. (gasket is NOT included).  BRAND NEW, NEVER USED.  MADE IN THE USA!!! (not some cheap 'off shore' stuff!).

NHTSA investigates Volkswagen Jetta diesel for fuel leak

The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration opened a preliminary investigation on Aug. 2 into 40,000 copies of the 2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. NHTSA received seven complaints stemming from leaks between the fuel line and the fuel injectors.

Hakan Saracoglu has been appointed director of Chery Motor's Shanghai design facility. He will work alongside director of corporate design James Hope who continues in his role overseeing Chery design. Turkish-born Saracoglu joins the Chinese state-owned manufacturer from Porsche where he worked from April 1998.

General Motors' design division has been re-organized in a spate of high-profile restructuring that comes into effect on 1 August. In Europe, David Lyon replaces Mark Adams as Vice President of Design for Opel/Vauxhall in Rüsselsheim while Adams moves Stateside to become Executive Director, Global Cadillac and Buick Design. Ken Parkinson, currently Director North American Exterior Design/Global Architecture Strategy and Chevrolet Brand Champion will become Executive Director, Global Chevrolet and GMC Design.
